Many beaches and rivers around Trinidad & Tobago do display bioluminescence at times once all the conditions are right, but one of the most outstanding displays we've ever seen is at our very own Grande Riviere beach!
This is not a continuously occurring sight and is only visible when oxygen and the biological substances luciferin and luciferase come together, generating energy and in turn releasing this spectacular blue light.
